Bananas are a good source of Potassium and sugar. They make for a handy snack when you’re running out of energy. Sometimes you may find yourself with more than you can consume. Or you just get bored of eating them as is. Apart from being used in cakes, bananas can also be turned into delicious ice cream.


3 ripe bananas (slightly turned brown)
Pinch of salt (optional)
Flavouring of choice: chocolate, coffe granules, peanut butter, etc


Peel the bananas, cut them into pieces, and place into the freezer while in a plastic bag.
After they are fully frozen, put them into a blender. Blend until you reach a soft-serve consistency.
If your blender is struggling just add 1/4 cup of milk and a pinch of salt then continue blending.
Add your favourite flavouring and blend until well mixed.
You can either serve immediately or place in the freezer again for 30 minutes to attain a firmer texture.
The ice cream is ready. Yum!
