Pizza

Pizza. Everyone loves it, right? Whether taking it as a meal or snack, it will sure have you coming back for more. And you don’t even need to leave the house to indulge- you can prepare it right at home!

Ingredients

a) Pizza

1cups flour
tbsp cooking oil
tbsp yeast
cup water
tsp sugar

b) Topping

1cup tomato sauce
1tsp salt
1cups pepperoni slices
 tsp Italian seasoning
1tsp pepper
1tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
cup shredded mozzarella cheese
cup shredded monterey jack cheese

Method

For the pizza

  • In a large bowl, mix the sugar, salt flour and yeast.
  • Add the water and oil to the flour mixture.
  • Knead on a floured surface for around 2 minutes.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl. Turn it around until all sides are greased.
  • Cover with a cloth and let rise for 20 minutes.
  • Punch the dough down and place in 12 inch greased pizza pan.
  • Pat it down flat into a circle.

For the Topping

  • Mix the Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder and spread over the crust.
  • Put a few pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 of each type of cheese.
  • Place the rest of the pepperoni on top of this.
  • Drizzle the rest of the cheese.
  • Bake at 200 Celsius for 20 minutes or until light brown.
