easter

The Easter season is finally upon us. Apart from commemorating the death & resurrection of Christ, it’s also a perfect opportunity to spend time with family. There are various activities to suit every taste and budget. If you’re short of ideas, we’ve got you covered.

Movie Night

You’ve got 4 nights to wind down and chill with your people. Grab some snacks and catch up on those movies you’ve been postponing. Just make sure they’re those that the whole family enjoys. Now that Game of Thrones is all the rage, you can enjoy it with loved ones. For those who aren’t fans this is the time to gently convert them, no?

Go Outdoors

A simple picnic or nature walk is a refreshing break from the normal humdrum of life. If you’re more adventurous, gather the family for a hike, camping or adrenaline- packed activities such as paintball. These are not only for fun but encourage bonding. You also get to make memories. Who wouldn’t want that?

Game Night

Competitive games are another way to get guys to bond without overthinking it. Board games such as scrabble & monopoly, word games or activities like treasure hunt are ideal for family game nights. Try them out this Easter and watch boredom disappear.

Appreciation

Oftentimes we may go about our lives assuming our loved ones know that we appreciate them. We might not tell them directly. However, it’s important to let your significant others know (verbally) that you value them. Hold a small family meeting and have everyone say at least one thing they appreciate about the others. You can also include cards and/ or other gifts. As long as they are heartfelt. No need for flattery or pretense.

Focus on Others

One of the best ways to spread the Easter cheer is to do something for others. Whether it’s visiting the sick in hospital, the aged in old people’s homes or volunteering at a charity organization for a day, there’s always something we can do to make someone else smile.

Happy Easter from us at Zeda!
