Father’s Day is just around the corner. If it had slipped your mind, there’s still time to choose a gift. Whatever you settle on, make sure it’s sincere. That will warm dad’s heart and put a smile on his face. Short of ideas on what to give your father this Sunday? We’ve got you sorted.
Custom- made Gift
You could have an artist create a customised gift for example a mug engraved with your dad’s name. Or sneak his favourite outfit to a tailor and have them make a special outfit with the exact measurements. Nothing says “I’m thinking of you” more than customised gifts.
Vouchers
What does your dad like? Watches? Cologne? Hiking? Working out? Getting him a voucher for an item that fancies him is a great way to show your appreciation.
Handmade Gift
Nothing communicates that you’ve spent time carefully considering gifts more than handmade ones. Let your artistic side out and craft something. It doesn’t have to be big or perfect- even a card will suffice. Your father will appreciate that you went out of your way to come up with a unique gift for him.
Time Together
This is the perfect time to hang out with your father, especially if you don’t do it often. You can either do an activity that he loves or just chill at home over a special meal and heart- to – heart conversation. Let him know how much you appreciate his presence and what he’s done for you. Most times we forget to tell our loved ones we appreciate them since they already ‘know’, but constant reminders are important too.
Photobook
Compile all those photos you have of your father & have them turned into a photobook. If there are any where you appear with him, even better. It makes for a good collection of memories made over the years.
