Hot Weather

As recently as 4 years ago, there were few (if any) Kenyan brands catering to naturalistas. These days however, there are so many to choose from- and more are coming up every day. Here are our favourites.

Sheth Naturals

Kenyan

They have a wide variety of products from butters, to oils, shampoo bar, deep conditioner, wash & go gel…you name it! Last week they introduced the Little Love package for those who want to have a taste of their products before plunging in. Check out their Insta for more info.

Marini Naturals

Kenyan

Marini has something for everyone- kids, loc’d persons and loose haired naturals. Their men’s range launched 2 days ago, now our men can shine like we do.

Mosara Kenya

We love their products as they’re made of clean ingredients, and they’re affordable too! If you’re a naturalista on a budget you need to get on this brand. Struggling with dry hair? Mosara products are here for you.

Ajani Handmade

As the name suggests, their products are handmade and clean. Scrubs, butters, bath bombs…you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Borus Beauty

This brand specializes in scented butters. We’ve never seen shea butter that smells this good!  You’ll have to stop yourself from licking it- smells like ice cream! They’re not only moisturizing for the hair but also skin. The varieties available are vanilla, orange and cocoa scented butters.

Mugzie’s Naturals

Kenyan

They have products for hair, body and lips for that wholesome glow. Have you heard of any Kenyan brand producing chia seed oil or beard cream? Neither had we, until encountering Mugzie’s. Pass by their Instagram for more goodies.
