This slows down productivity and bars many people from hitting their new year’s targets. Here are a few changes to make to help you tick all the tasks on your list.

1. Binge drinking

Binge drinking is not good for your health as it can cause long term problems in your liver and heart and can also cause immediate problems such as feeling dizzy, gaining weight and getting fatigued more easily. If you want to prevent yourself from these problems, drink in moderation.

2. Not getting enough sleep

Sleeping less than 6 hours for a long duration of time increases your chances of weakening your immunity and other bodily processes, exposing you to illnesses and fatigue. It is therefore advised that one should sleep for at least 7 to 8 hours every day to maintain good health.

3. Negative self talk

Positivity is a necessity to have a healthy body. One should never stress on the fact that they are so lonely, they have no friends, they have many problems in their life, and so on. This makes you stressed mentally and stress has physical repercussions too.

4. Unhealthy eating

If you binge on junk often, your body is at risk. Fast food has very high proportions of sugar, preservatives, fat and spices. If you eat junk too often, you are more prone to problems like diabetes, high cholesterol, problems of the heart and many more. Junk food is also known to harden the arteries and increase the plaque deposits in your body. To avoid this, switch to healthier, more balanced food to keep your system clean and healthy.

5. Smoking

Smoking causes clots in your blood. This can develop plaques in the arteries by preventing a smooth flow of blood. Additionally, smoking puts those around you at risk through passive smoking.
